Connecticut has a dedicated court for evictions: the Summary Process Court. Depending on client need, Matt represents residential and commercial landlords in pursuing evictions, and assists both business and residential tenants in defending them.
From the Notice to Quit through the Execution, Matt has represented landlords in evictions on a variety of grounds. He has negotiated with the housing mediator and has also tried residential and commercial evictions to a verdict.
On the tenant side, Matt has successfully thwarted unfair attempts to remove tenants from their homes and businesses.
