Matthew has represented individuals and businesses in Mohegan Tribal Courts, whether it’s a personal injury claim from an injury at Mohegan Sun, a business dispute with the Tribe, or a dispute involving tribal governance.
Matthew has appeared in the Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court and the Mohegan Tribal Court. He also handled the first reported appeal at the Mohegan Tribal Court of Appeals, Harris v Mohegan Election Committee, 1 M.T.C.A. 1 (2013).
He was also counsel in the Connecticut Federal Court in First American Casino Corp. v. Eastern Pequot Nation, 175 F. Supp. 2d. 205 (2000).
